Your Advocate for HEALTH The Wake County Medical Society (WCMS) is a Wake County association of medical doctors with more than 700 physician members dedicated to the best interests of their patients. WCMS is a 501 (c) 6 non-profit organization that serves the licensed physicians of Wake County. WCMS has been a trusted source for health policy leadership since 1903 when it was Chartered by the North Carolina Medical Society.
Mission Statement To serve and represent the interests
of our physicians; to promote the health of all people in Wake County;
and to uphold the highest ethical practice in medicine. Other aspects of
WCMS include providing physicians with leadership opportunities,
fostering volunteerism, promoting health studies and educating the
public.
